2. Recognize that he/she should give toward the work of God and pay offerings regularly.
3. Realize that all gifts and money given to God is a blessing in store for us in Heaven.

CENTRAL TRUTH
We must store our treasures in Heaven.

INTRODUCTION
What is a treasure? A treasure is something valuable to us. We must store our treasures in
heaven and not on earth. How can we store our treasures in Heaven? Listen to the Bible
Lesson.

PROGRESSION OF EVENTS
1. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where
    thieves break in and steal. Matthew 6:19.
2. Lay up your treasures in heaven, where there is nor rust nor thieves to destroy and to steal.    Matthew 6:20.
3. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21.
4. Laying up treasures in heaven is not limited to tithing but is accomplished by all acts of    obedience to God.
5. When we give to the work of God and when we give to the poor and needy are laying up
   treasures in heaven. Luke 18:22.

LIFE APPLICATION
A Man kept all his money in the bank, everyday his mind was always in the huge amount of
money until one day armed robbers came to rob the bank and went away with all the money,
when this man heard the incident, he fainted and was rushed to the hospital. Jesus advised us to
give our riches and money to his work, to the needy and the poor, so that our heart would be at
rest in Him, after all we know that there is no thief in heaven.

MESSAGE OF SALVATION
Before we store our treasures in heaven, we must first save our soul in the hand of Jesus by
accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour.

CONCLUSION
Store your treasures in Heaven by giving to God’s work and by giving to the poor and needy.

CHALLENGE
A child of God must take God’s project first and be ready to give all. This is how to store
treasures in heaven.

INVITATION
Come and give your life to Jesus Christ now, so that you can save your life in the hand of Jesus.
